Designing & Implementing Secure Systems: Produce qualified engineering graduates capable of designing and implementing secure systems that defend against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Graduates will be able to develop and deploy secure network solutions, transform conventional systems into secure infrastructures, manage security technologies, audit intrusion detection systems, and conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Preparing Competent Engineering Cadres: Prepare engineering graduates with a high level of understanding, knowledge, academic, and technical competence, combining engineering insight, technical creativity, scientific ability, and high-quality implementation skills in cybersecurity engineering technology.
Building & Protecting IT Infrastructures: Graduate engineering cadres responsible for building, designing, and protecting information technology systems in institutions to prevent data breaches, protect against hackers and viruses, and supervise network infrastructure across various platforms.
Cloud Computing & Vulnerability Management: Graduate engineering cadres with practical skills to master cloud computing operations, use vulnerability assessment tools, evaluate security patches, mitigate vulnerabilities, assist in security documentation, and handle disaster recovery solutions.
Risk Assessment & Incident Analysis: Prepare engineering cadres skilled in analyzing data records and conducting risk assessments during security breaches to identify penetrated components, pinpoint threat sources, and explore potential vulnerabilities to maintain network system integrity.
Supporting National Cyber Resilience: Provide cybersecurity experts to help achieve the long-term national strategic goals of the Iraqi state regarding cybersecurity readiness and defense capabilities.
Empowering Professional & Ethical Values: Empower students with soft skills and professional values to communicate and collaborate effectively with others in an ethical, legal, and professional manner.
Keeping Pace with Emerging Technologies: Ensure that students’ knowledge, competencies, and technical skills remain aligned with the latest emerging cybersecurity technologies and standards.
